Psychology and mental health experts say that sleep is one of the regular activities to keep you productive. We're all human so our bodies tells us we need more sleep in different ways. As Entrepreneurs and Founders, the beginning of a startup means sleep is put on the backburner to start the Dream. With COVID19, many of us are losing sleep due to stress and worry.
If you are losing sleep during this pandemic, there are ways YOU can make a difference right now. It could be a little gesture like helping out at the food bank or picking up groceries for your elderly neighbor. It could be a big gesture like donating a large chunk of your wealth to those in need right now (AKA Giving Pledge NOW!) or as a bonus to those employees getting you through this pandemic. The key is making a difference NOW!!! ANYONE can make money but not EVERYONE will make a difference. A little motivation for those Entrepreneurs and Founders out there.
Why do you get out of bed every morning?
Is it your job? Is it to fulfill a hope or dream?
Is it the damn alarm clock?
Is it the chance to make a difference, however great, however small, in your work, your family, your community, and possibly even the world in which you live?
Your answer could change your life.
It could also change the lives of those around you.
Some Type-A personality argued about sleep that "He will sleep when he dies." Sleep may not be our first priority right now. But Entrepreneurs have the opportunity right now to make a difference no matter how small or big. The recipients of those gestures will never forget your kindness. It's the essence of the PeopleFirst philosophy of business. Make a difference and change the lives of those around you.
