The Disruptors of the Business of Politics

The Disruptors of the Business of Politics

Thomas Paine said this in 1776 alluding to these future chaotic times.  He said, "These are the times that try men's souls." Every tested Entrepreneur has gone through these times that has challenged his or her soul. These are the misfits and the troublemakers that don't fit in with the status quo. These times beg the question, "What do you stand for?"

At FREEAG8, we remain non-partisan in politics. We are supporters of Entrepreneurs and Founders. We are students of entrepreneurship and leadership. We challenge the status quo. This explains our interest in the Democratic Presidential race. Think about it, politics is a business too where you have billions at play every day. You have the disruptors and innovators. In this example, the disruptors and innovators for the DNC are Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, and Andrew Yang. You know you have hit a nerve when your naysayers are lying about you (SEE BELOW). Or calling you a Russian asset. Believe it or not this happened to Tulsi Gabbard.

"He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done," Clinton said in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "He was a career politician. It's all just baloney, and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it."

When your friends become your enemies is when you know you're disrupting the establishment. In politics, it started with Ross Perot but he failed to win the goal of becoming President. Donald Trump disrupted the Republican Party and became our 45th President. Whether you like him or not, Trump is a great example of an innovator and disruptor. The bottom line question for Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, and Andrew Yang is this. Do they have the courage to disrupt the establishment (DNC) and win against all odds?

Our favorite business example of an innovator and disruptor is Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs overcame overwhelming obstacles and failures to win BIG time against all odds. This great video and quote below are a testament to his visionary philosophy on disrupting the status quo.

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

Do you have the courage to change the world as an Entrepreneur and Founder? The status quo will never be remembered in history books. The key to disrupting the status quo is easy.  Just THINK DIFFERENTLY!
