Without Law, there is Lawlessness.  In a thriving, prosperous society, capitalism and entrepreneurship can only survive when there is Law. The best symbol for Law in America is Lady Justice. Lady Justice is blind to bias and symbolizes law with Her blindfold, sword, scale, and robe. As entrepreneurs, there is an easy choice between law and lawlessness. The Law affects entrepreneurs and their businesses greatly as regulations and political bureaucracy can kill small businesses and startups.

Technology has changed tremendously from the 80's and 90's.  30-40 years makes a big difference in your experience and understanding of technology but also in your perspective on how we got to our current state changes. The entrepreneurs and founders who led this revolution were visionaries, innovators, and disruptors. They built the Internet and technology to what it is today and they have changed the world for the better of humanity.

You see it in business a lot these days where companies and investors pay "lip-service" to supporting disruptive ideas and businesses. Maybe, in a protective way, these companies are maintaining the status quo. There are many examples of this "lip-service" in technology and entrepreneurship with respect to startups. Did you believe in social media or ecommerce in the early days of the industry? Did you believe in entrepreneurs such as Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Crazy Jack Ma or Marc Benioff?
